The Ministry of Health announced the launch of a virtual assistant so that citizens can converse with Susana Distanci a , resolve their doubts and even carry out an informed self-diagnosis of COVID-19, via WhatsApp.
YaloChat, a pioneering platform in technology and conversational commerce, teamed up with Facebook, WhatsApp and the Ministry of Health to develop this virtual assistant. Through her artificial intelligence technology, Susana Distancia seeks to answer Mexicans' doubts about the COVID-19 disease.
To contact her, people only need to send a WhatsApp message that says “Hello” to 55 8633 8589 . This number will have the green popcorn that verifies it as a verified source.
“The responses, previously developed and approved by the Ministry of Health , will guide citizens during the health emergency, answering questions and doubts about symptoms, care, precautions and immediate action measures for those who present any sign of the disease.
We seek to contribute our grain of sand by donating this technology that allows citizens, not only to solve their doubts, but also to carry out diagnostic tests with official information, in order to be able to make the best decisions ”, declared Javier Mata, Founder and CEO of YaloChat.
The use of virtual assistants to distribute reliable and official information has become an effective tool to keep the population well informed during the COVID-19 crisis; being a positive example that of the World Health Organization and some governments such as South Africa.
