The city is looking for new residents who work remotely and want a change in life for six months.

If you’re a fan of “Friends,” you probably already have an idea of what it would be like to move to Tulsa, Oklahoma. The city aims to attract residents and offers more than 200,000 pesos in allowance for living there.
The program Tulsa Remote, It’s been in place since 2018 and is set to attract 250 new residents who can work remotely and move to the city. In return, they grant a reward of $ 10,000that’s just over 200,000 Mexican pesos.
The payment includes the relocation budget, remuneration for services rendered and a balance after the end of your stay. In addition, newcomers have a membership for the room from Coworking 36 degrees north, assistance with local housing and access to a community-building program.
The initiative aims to promote the city and attract investment programs to boost the local economy. So far they have taken in 400 people and only 3 have left the city.
Requirements for the Tulsa Remote Program
- Be over 18 years old
- Be a full-time remote worker or self-employed outside of Oklahoma
- Be eligible to work in the United States, that is, have a United States work visa.
- Have the option to move to Tulsa for the next 6 months.
