Winning an Academy Award can make you feel like the king of the world, at least for the rest of the Oscar night. Taiki Waititi , winner of the Best Screenplay Adapted by the movie Jojo Rabbit , began complaining about his favorite technology company shortly after leaving the stage. When the journalists asked him what he thought about the upcoming ones with industry producers, the director focused his anger on Apple . Specifically, their keyboards, which the director says are “impossible to use for typing.”
“They've gotten worse,” Waititi said, “it makes me want to go back to PCs,” emphasizing in his own way his preference for keyboards with greater resistance. He also said that the tightness of the keys causes inflammatory problems in the shoulder and tendons, which is terrible if you spend a lot of time writing. Of course, the director, who became famous for a series of comedies like, used his complaints against Apple only to avoid answering such a political question.
However, the fact that Apple keyboards can be used as a key phrase in the Oscars says a lot about where the company is. We are forced to say that the company launched a new one at the end of last year that uses an old-style scissor keyboard. But it is likely that not even someone as rich and famous as Waititi has bought a new laptop the same day of launch, especially if its 15-inch model still works.
