The World Health Organization (WHO) this Saturday confirmed a new daily record of cases with more than 294,000 positive results internationally.
In the past 24 hours, the organization has registered 294,237 infections worldwide, bringing the total number of cases to 21,026,758.
The WHO has also reported that more than 755,000 people have died from the pandemic worldwide, 9,985 of them in the last day.
At the top is the Americas with more than 11.2 million cases, of which 161,772 positive cases were confirmed this Saturday, and 410,483 deaths. Behind him is Europe, which has added more than 3.7 million infections and causes more than 213,000 deaths.
