According to National vaccination schedule that presented this Tuesday the Government of mexicothe entire population will have access to vaccines. However, the time period for their application would be based on a prioritization scheme dividing the population into five groups.

1. Health workers

This sector would be the first to receive the coronavirus vaccine in Mexico as it fights directly against COVID-19. Therefore, it is estimated that they will be vaccinated between that month of December and the month of February 2021.

2. Adults over 60 years

People who are over 80 years old are also prioritized. Then to those who are between 70 and 79 years old, and finally to adults who are between 60 and 69 years old. It is estimated that this sector is considered together with the health sector.

3. Adults aged 50 to 59 years

According to the vaccination schedule, this group would receive the vaccine between April and May 2021.

4. Adults between 40 and 49 years of age

Adults reaching this age group would be vaccinated between May and June 2021.

5. Under 40 years of age

This sector would be the last to receive the vaccine and the application deadline would be June 2021 through March 2022.
