Walmart Pass is a subscription program that allows Walmart customers to place as many orders as they want without shipping costs. And in Mexico and Central America, this membership could be available in a few months.
“We have developed the Walmart Pass, a subscription program that allows our Walmart and Walmart Express customers to place any orders they want within a few months without shipping costs by paying a fixed monthly or annual fee,” said Cristian Barrientos, COO for the Company as part of Walmart Day.
On-demand services have been a key element of Walmart’s omnichannel strategy, which is being further strengthened on four fronts: improving the customer experience; Take advantage of cheap products and offer same day delivery. Offer the service to more families in more than 270 stores for a total of 860 units in Mexico and promote the Walmart Pass, explained the executive director of Milenio newspaper.
In the US, a Walmart membership costs $ 98 a year ($ 12.25 a month) and offers 160,000 products to get home in less than 24 hours, discounts at gas stations, and the option to go to a Walmart store and to pay without having to queue up.
