“The data available, based on instrumental and laboratory tests, suggest that the vaccine is safe and well tolerated,” said the government department, led by General Sergei Shoigu, the Russian news agency Tass reported.
18 volunteers took part in the vaccine trials. Her vital signs were kept at normal levels 28 days after the vaccine was given. The patients showed no adverse effects or complications or complained of health problems.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the volunteers will return to the hospital on the 42nd day of vaccine administration for a final medical exam and diagnosis.
