The Vice President of the Government of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez reported five deaths from COVID-19 on Tuesday, which means that a total of 391 people have lost their lives in the country since the pandemic began.It has 47,756 accumulated cases after the 1,028 last Day.
Rodríguez stated that 82 percent of the accumulated cases correspond to people who have already managed to overcome the disease, that is, 39,027; while there are 8,338 still active.
Among the positives this Tuesday, 124 are imported, all but one that is from Brazil are from Colombia. Again, as he counted, the capital district recorded the highest number of infections on that day, 193.
The Vice President announced that of the 8,338 active cases there are 1,652 in the country’s public hospitals network. 6,495 in comprehensive diagnostic centers; and another 191 in private clinics.
