Venezuela has received more than 15 tons of humanitarian aid this Friday to help tackle Turkey’s coronavirus, including diagnostic tests, medical supplies, and masks.
“We are receiving more than 15 tons of COVID-19 supplies from the Republic of Turkey. We are very grateful to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish people and the Turkish government,” said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister. , Jorge Arreaza.
Arreaza has recognized Turkey’s “solidarity” and assured that Venezuela is a country that is “besieged” and “blocked” despite having the support of “big friends”, including China, Russia, Iran and the USA has highlighted Cuba.
“We are getting respirators, 40,000 molecular test kits, 100,000 masks, 200,000 gloves, and biosecurity equipment,” said the minister, the State Department said through its Twitter account.
The Venezuelan authorities have indicated that 11,191 infections have been reached this Friday, 337 in the last 24 hours. There were also three other deaths that caused a total of 107 deaths.
