Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Yevhen Yenin, announced on Friday that the analysis of the “black boxes” of Ukraine International Airlines’ Boeing aircraft was mistakenly fired by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard shortly after taking off in Tehran on February 8, January, that there was “illegal interference”.
“The ‘black boxes’ of the PS752 flight were successfully extracted and decoded. The protocol confirms the fact that the flight plan was being illegally disrupted,” he announced on Twitter.
Ukrainian diplomacy “number two” has also indicated that the first round of talks with Iran will take place in Kiev next week, according to the Ukrinform news agency.
Hours earlier, the French agency for aviation security research and analysis (BEA), which has undertaken the investigation, has confirmed that it has successfully completed the data extraction and analysis of images of the two “black boxes”.
