Uber will reactivate the accounts of 2 conductive partners and 240 users who were in contact with coronavirus in Mexico

This will happen once it is confirmed that people did not show any symptoms during the observation period.

Uber announced that they remain in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health of Mexico City, which has monitored and observed the two driving partners. The mobility company explained that once the 14-day period is completed without the presence of symptoms, the accounts of the driving partners will be reactivated.

Similarly, they said that when they get the corresponding information about users, their accounts will be available again.

On February 1, the company informed through a statement that it suspended the accounts of 240 users and two drivers after the Ministry of Public Health of Mexico City will request information from the mobility company about a customer identified as possible coronavirus carrier .

The firm explained that they notified drivers and users who traveled with them later about the temporary deactivation of their accounts in order to share the preventive information of the Ministry of Health.
