At least two people have died and another 26 have been injured on Wednesday by the explosion of a car bomb near a police station in the Alisheng district, in the Afghan province of Laghman (east), in an attack claimed by the Taliban .
The Interior Ministry has reported that the attack has killed two police officers and injured six others, to which another 20 civilians have been injured, according to the Jaama news agency.
The Taliban have already claimed responsibility for the attack by ensuring that they have left dozens of victims, including dead and wounded, in the security forces. Laghman is a relatively quiet province, although the Taliban are present in some districts.
