The Turkish government lifted the curfew last weekend due to the coronavirus pandemic in 31 provinces across the country.

This is the fourth curfew on Turkish territory since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, which left 3,397 dead and 126,045 confirmed cases in the country, although the number recovered is already 63,000, exceeding the number of active cases.

However, according to the Interior Ministry, legal proceedings have been instituted against 27,828 people for violating the 72-hour curfew imposed on May 1.
