Turkey has imposed its first national Coronavirus prison term before the end of Ramadan celebrations

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Monday that during Edi al Fitr, the country would celebrate the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, his first national detention for the corona virus.

The measure, which will be in effect for four days from Saturday, affects the 81 provinces of the country for the first time after Ankara has imposed several partial restrictions in various provinces.

“Turkey wins the fight against this outbreak,” Erdogan said before urging the population to respect social distancing and to warn of stricter measures if there is an increase in some cases.

He also stressed that the travel ban in the country’s 15 capitals was extended for another 15 days, while revealing that mosques may reopen on May 29, the Turkish state news agency reports. Anatolia.
