The President of the United States, Donald Trump, assured this Friday that while there is still no evidence of Russia’s involvement in the alleged poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalni, he has no reason to doubt Germany’s assessment.
The federal government reported that health professionals had found “clear evidence” that the opponent in Russia had been poisoned with a nerve agent from the Novichok group.
“I would be very angry if that were the case,” Trump said at a press conference at the White House, saying he hopes to get more information about the situation so that the country can make a decision.
The US president has claimed that he understood the desire to crack down on Russia, despite insisting that he be on good terms with the president
Russian, Vladimir Putin.
