Trump says he is preparing immigration reform to introduce a “performance-based” system
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has assured this Friday that he is preparing immigration reform to introduce a “performance-based” system to gain access to US citizenship.
The President plans to implement this new regulation through an implementing regulation. Regarding his intention to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, Trump said in an interview with Telemundo that he was “taking care of it”.
“They will be part of a larger immigration law, a performance-based law that will include DACA,” he said.

In particular, Trump has assured that he will sign this project in the coming weeks, assuring that the Supreme Court has given him “the authority” to do so.
