Trump changes the sentence of his former adviser Roger Stone

July 11, 2020

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, converted the prison sentence this Friday on former adviser Roger Stone, one of the President’s closest allies, as the White House said in a statement.

“Roger Stone is a victim of Russian fraud that the left and its allies have immortalized in the media for years to weaken the Trump presidency,” the White House press chief said in a statement. Kayleigh McEnany.

McEnany has argued that Stone deserves a “fair trial and an opportunity to defend himself in court”. He has therefore justified his actions with “the cruel facts and circumstances surrounding his charges, arrest and unfair trial”.

“Roger Stone has suffered a lot already. He was treated very unjustly like many others in this case. He is now a free man,” said the White House.
