The President of the United States, Donald Trump, on Tuesday announced the cancellation of trade talks with the Chinese government due to the global health crisis caused by the new coronavirus pandemic.
“I don’t want to deal with it now. With what you have done to this country and the world, I don’t want to speak to China now,” Trump said at a press conference in Yuma in southwest Arizona, one of the USA’s stopovers that you will stop during a series of trips that will take you through different states in the coming days.
“You should have stopped him,” said the President of the United States, who from the start has always accused the Beijing government of not doing enough to stop the advance of the pandemic.
“So it is correct that I canceled talks with China,” he confirmed.
Trump’s statements came a day after he praised China’s purchase of U.S. farm produce under the agreements reached last January, but that Beijing will be unable to continue compliance due to the economic crisis caused by the pandemic.
