Thousands of people begin a controversial march in Berlin to denounce the measures against Covid-19

August 29, 2020

Around 1,000 people gathered in the heart of Berlin this Saturday to start a new demonstration against German coronavirus regulations after waiting for days for a court approval for fear of violent incidents and violations of health regulations and the possible presence far-right elements.

For the time being, the police were installed in front of the historic Brandenburg Gate of the capital, where the demonstration is expected to be concentrated, as well as in front of several meeting points for the protest and the march.

The protesters had already gathered at the Brandenburg Gate on Friday evening to express their protest, but this Saturday the police will appear on Saturday with a large number of 3,000 police officers on duty.
