The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, confirmed that they have received Savings of 560 billion pesos (mp) in these 21 months of his mandate for the fight against corruption and the government’s austerity policy.
In his second government report, the president, who cited fighting corruption as his main promise for the campaign, withdrew that this scourge ended in the upper echelons of public administration, but it remains to end “banditry” and “cleaning up” that public life in the country.

López Obrador reiterated that Mexico’s economic recovery will be shaped like a “V”.In other words, a sudden decline followed by a recovery at the same rate, although the Treasury Department and the Bank of Mexico foresee a slower and more uncertain recovery.
In his speech, he was more moderate, despite reiterating that his government had fought the economic crisis with direct support from its social development policies and that “the elites” had not been bailed out or ran into more debt.
On the other hand, he again mentioned the need for it subject to public consultation when investigating past presidents for alleged acts of corruption. However, he reiterated that he would vote “no” in a referendum.
