The Bolivian Ministry of Health reported 1,388 new cases this Thursday, about 400 fewer than the previous day, but while it has also added fewer deaths (57) it is 3,884.
However, the total number of cases has risen to 95,044, of which 58,414 are still active. There are already 32,830 people who have overcome the disease, while an additional 15,968 are thought to have the disease.
By region, the situation in the northwestern department of La Paz, which again leads the last part of the Ministry of Health with 813 new infections, three times as frequent as Santa Cruz in the east of the country, continues to be critical with 232.
Both areas are hardest hit by the pandemic. Santa Cruz has counted 37,831 accumulated cases so far, compared to 23,721 in La Paz.
