There are nearly 400,000 accumulated cases and 13,000 deaths from COVID-19 in Colombia

The Colombian Ministry of Health reported a total of 387,481 accumulated cases of COVID-19 this Sunday after 10,611 new infections in the past 24 hours, in addition to 12,842 deaths related to the disease.

Health officials detailed the registry of 302 new deaths and the recovery of 8,097 people, so there are already 212,688 patients who have managed to overcome the disease.

By departments, Cundinamarca remains the hardest hit with 135,879 accumulated cases and 3,742 deaths, most of them in Bogotá. It is followed by Antioquia with 48,342 infections and 834 deaths; and Valle del Cauca with 30,858 confirmed and 1,199 deaths.

Medellin Mayor Daniel Quintero Calle announced this Sunday that he had overcome the disease 14 days after his positive test.
