The U.S. has surpassed the country’s 2.5 million cases of coronavirus this Saturday after the authorities have registered more than 45,000 new positives in the past 24 hours.
In this way, the United States has reached 2,508,705 coronavirus cases and 125,511 people have died in the country, according to Johns Hopkins University, due to the pandemic.
The states in which the number of positive results has increased in recent days are Arizona, Texas, California and Florida. However, at least 31 states saw an increase in cases compared to two weeks ago, and eleven have reversed their reopening efforts.
Because of this situation, Washington Governor Jay Inslee said on Saturday that he would slow down his opening plans and move to the fourth phase due to the upswing in the territory cases.
