The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed a daily record of new worldwide registered coronavirus cases this Saturday, with more than 259,000 positive results in the past 24 hours.
In particular, the WHO indicated that 259,848 cases were added on the last day, bringing the total number of positive cases to 13.8 million, according to the organization.
It was also stated that 7,360 deaths occurred internationally on Saturday, which increased the number of deaths to 593,087.
The American continent is at the top with more than 7.3 million cases and 151,531 infections in the last 24 hours. In addition, more than 300,000 coronavirus deaths are recorded, including 4,653 this Saturday. Europe is behind him with more than three million infections and 206,000 deaths.
