The government of US President Donald Trump does not plan to implement the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to reopen the North American country.
In particular, the 17-page CDC guide contains more detailed proposals to revive the country related to the coronavirus pandemic than those offered by the Trump administration last month, including specific sections for schools and churches.
However, as confirmed by a CDC member to CNN Television, the US executive will not use it. “We are used to dealing with a White House that asks for things and then creates chaos,” said the CDC member in question.
“The 17-page report is a request from the White House Task Force (Coronavirus) to make these recommendations. It is our job to develop this guide,” he added.
