In the United States, at least 80,033 people have died from coronavirus, which is a total of 1,323,051 confirmed positive results from the last count. There are also 240,760 recovered patients.
These figures become known when many of the American states have already started reopening, including some of the most affected by the epidemic, such as New Jersey, where 138,532 cases have been reported.
The hardest hit states include New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Michigan, Connecticut and California.
The development of the United States has seen a plateau in the contagion curve of around 25,000 to 30,000 new cases per day since the beginning of April, although the graph of deaths reflects a slight but continuous decline, which has not decreased in number of deaths since then March 30 1,000 deaths daily.
