The United States Department of Justice on Friday accused two suspected members of the extremist “Boogaloo” movement of supporting the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
“Today the Justice Department announced the filing of federal lawsuits against Michael Robert Solomon, 30, and Benjamin Ryan Teeter, 22, for conspiracy and attempting to provide material aid to a foreign terrorist organization (Hamas),” Has informed the department in a statement .
Solomon and Teeter were arrested Thursday and made their first statements early Friday before Magistrate Tony Leung in the Minneapolis District Court.
Assistant Attorney General John C. Demers has alleged that the defendants attempted to use force against members of the police, government and executive branch in order to overthrow him. In the meantime, they met with suspected members of the Hamas terrorist group.
