The Universidad Católica Argentina offers a postgraduate course entitled “Law Fintech: Regulatory Framework of Technologies in the Financial Sector”. The course will take place from Thursday, July 16, as part of the virtual modality. This has been reported from the website of this house of high studies.

The program director is Dr. Emiliano Carlos Lamanna Guiñazú and the coordinators are Dr. Ignacio Torino and Dr. Santiago Eraso Lomaquiz. The latter expressed the following via his LinkedIn account:

“We are preparing an executive program from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina so that we, together with the leading experts and representatives of the sector, can analyze the regulations that apply to technologies in the financial sector.”

The planned modules are as follows:

  1. General, legal and regulatory aspects of the FinTech ecosystem

  2. Regulatory framework of financial institutions

  3. Payment methods

  4. Corporate structures and tax aspects

  5. Funding methods for entrepreneurship

  6. Electronic signature, digital signature and electronic procurement for financial services

  7. Online loans. Investment funds

  8. Protection of personal data. Work aspects

  9. Crowdfunding

  10. Cryptoactive

  11. Blockchain and smart contracts

  12. Criminal Aspects and Investigations. Digital compliance

  13. Insurtech. Ecosystem, modalities, technical and regulatory aspects

In total, the postgraduate program comprises 12 modules, 40 hours of lessons for three months, virtual and 25 teachers.
