The United States issues a tsunami warning for Alaska after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake south of the peninsula

The United States authorities have issued a tsunami alert for Alaska after registering a 7.8 magnitude earthquake on Richter’s open scale with an epicenter south of this peninsula and a 10 km deep hypocenter.
