The United States crosses the barrier of two million coronavirus cases

The coronavirus pandemic, originating from the Chinese city of Wuhan, has already infected more than two million people in the United States, according to the latest information from Johns Hopkins University.

Updated data from the university shows that the United States, the country most affected by COVID-19, has 2,000,464 positive results, while the death toll is 112,924.

Since the end of last week, daily new infections in the North American country have dropped below 20,000, although the numbers are still between 17,000 and 18,000 additional infections.

The epicenter of the pandemic in the United States is located in New York State. In particular, more than 380,000 coronavirus cases have been confirmed, including more than 30,000 deaths.
