The United Nations General Assembly elects Turk Volkan Bozkir as its new president

The United Nations member countries elected Turkish politician Volkan Bozkir as the new President of the General Assembly this Wednesday, as reported by the United Nations.

The diplomat, for example, will replace the Nigerian Tijjani Muhamad gang, who will resign before leaving the 75th meeting of the Assembly in September.

“His Excellency, Mr. Volkan Bozkir from Turkey, was elected President of the General Assembly at his 75th session after he received the majority of the votes required,” announced Muhamad gang.
