The United Kingdom registers almost 900 new cases and exceeds 310,000 infections

The UK government has confirmed 890 new infections in the past 24 hours, up to 310,250 cases and a hundred new deaths this Saturday, bringing the total death toll to 43,514.

According to the latest from the UK Department of Health, more than 9 million tests have been carried out nationwide, 155,359 of them in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, it was announced earlier this Saturday that the British government plans to lift the quarantine for travelers returning from certain countries of the European Union, including Spain, as of July 6, the BBC.

Tourists returning from the countries on a list drawn up by the UK government have therefore not yet had to comply with the 14-day quarantine after their return.
