The United Kingdom passed the 30,000 death and 200,000 deaths mark this Wednesday as a result of the new coronavirus pandemic, the UK government said recently.
After becoming the country with the most deaths worldwide on Tuesday, the country has added another 649 in the last 24 hours, for which there are already 30,076 deaths.
In addition, the barrier of 200,000 infections was overcome after tests confirmed another 6,111, for a total of 201,101. The United Kingdom enters the United States list with more than 1.2 million cases, followed by Spain with 219,000 and Italy with more than 214,000.
England remains the most punished area with nearly 130,000 cases and just over 27,000 deaths, while 69,463 were performed on the last day, which is below the Boris Johnson government’s daily target of 100,000.
