The UK reports more than 50,000 daily COVID-19 infections for the first time in three months

The UK Ministry of Health recorded more than 50,000 daily cases of COVID-19 this Thursday for the first time since July 17, amid a surge in the number of the pandemic in the country and amid targeted calls by the government to impose restrictions on the spread of the disease contain.
