British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab, who hosted the daily press conference on the situation of the coronavirus pandemic in the country on Wednesday, has reported that the number of post-billing deaths has exceeded 26,000 to those who died in daycare centers.
The increase of 3,811 deaths from the previous day is due to the government increasing the number of deaths in nursing homes for the first time. A total of 26,097 people in hospitals, dormitories, and other types of community centers died of Covid-19 after testing positive.
However, Raab has ensured that these new figures do not mean that the number of deaths has increased significantly in the past 24 hours, and therefore stressed that it is only an update of the data.
With this in mind, he explained that these 3,000 deaths occurred between March 2 and April 28. Death tolls have increased by 765 since Tuesday, which is a recovery from the previous day when 586 more deaths were found.
