The UK government confirmed 494 new coronavirus pandemic deaths this Wednesday, increasing the death toll to 33,186 since the pandemic started and confirming the downward trend of 3,242 cases on the last day, the lowest daily value since March.
In a press conference held by Housing Minister Robert Jenrick, authorities said 87,063 coronavirus tests had been performed since Tuesday, for a total of 2 million. However, the number of daily tests is still below the 100,000 Downing Street targets.
Jenrick, who has stated that 229,705 cases of coronavirus have been registered in the UK, has announced plans to “reactivate the property market”.
“While we are recovering, it is important to open up parts of the UK economy where it is safe,” he said before assuring that anyone who wants to move to England can do so if they follow the guidelines of the Government follows.
