The U.S. state of Florida records a record 11,400 new infections in a single day

The North American state of Florida has registered a total of 11,445 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, a record of new infections.

The new balance, released by the state health authorities this Saturday and collected by the CNN network, is 10,109 cases far above the maximum registered on Thursday.

According to the Florida Department of Health, the state has a total of 190,052 cases – 187,090 of whom live there – and 3,702 deaths. A total of 15,735 are in the hospital.
