The Attorney General of the United States, William Barr, objected to President Donald Trump on Monday and assured that the Secret Service recommended that the President go to the bunker as part of the protests against George Floyd’s death in Washington.

Trump was evacuated to the White House bunker where the intelligence agency had to intervene to remove some of the barriers installed next to the president’s headquarters on Friday, May 29, before the protests escalated near the building.

The President later claimed that he entered the bunker “for a short time” and during the day only “for inspection” of the facilities.
