Belarusian opposition team Svetlana Tijanovskaya appealed to the Supreme Court on Friday to invalidate the results of the August 9th presidential elections held in the country.
As reported by Maxim Znak, one of the lawyers in his team, it will be decided in the “next three days whether the appeal will be allowed to be processed”. It found that the defense also presented “some of the evidence” to the court, while the rest is presented during a trial.
Znak has indicated that in addition to the appeal, the opposition team submitted a number of attachments that would confirm the reported violations, according to the Sputnik news agency.
“There are signatures from the people confirming that they voted for Tijanovskaya, observer materials on the violations, other evidence, testimonies from members of the electoral commissions, all kinds of evidence that the elections are invalid,” he said.
