The state of Baden-Württemberg prohibits the use of the full-surface Islamic veil in schools
The government of the state of Baden-Württemberg announced on Tuesday that the Islamic veil that covers the entire face of women is prohibited in classrooms.
Teachers were already forbidden to use this modality of Islamic veil for teaching. The new thing is that the ban now also applies to students.
The Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann is of the opinion that these are not everyday occurrences, but must be regulated.

The question of the use of the Islamic veil remains in the hands of the country in Germany, so the regulations vary from country to country. In February, a Hamburg court ruled in favor of a Muslim teen wearing “Niqab” in class and asked other states to announce otherwise.
