The Serbian President and Prime Minister of Kosovo are holding their first personal meeting in 20 months

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovar Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti attended their first personal meeting in Brussels on Thursday, the first meeting in almost two years.

The meeting in the Belgian capital will take place four days after the first conversation between Vucic and Hoti as part of the process funded by the European Union (EU) after the dialogue stalled in 2018.

With this in mind, EU High Commissioner for Common Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell, stressed that “Sunday’s meeting was the first after a 20-month break” and that “the EU is back in the EU in this process.”
