The protests against Lukashenko lasted two months. The new march is scheduled for this Sunday

The street marches against Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will end their eighth week this Sunday with the concentration planned for this Sunday in Minsk, which he will hopefully repeat last weekend.

In the Belarusian capital, around 100,000 people took part in the demonstration last Sunday, of which around 350 were arrested.

On this occasion, the demonstrators were asked to carry photos of political prisoners and march in front of detention centers.

It remains to be seen whether the security forces will treat them differently, as Belarus has withdrawn accreditation from all foreign correspondents, making it difficult to cover the protests.
