Peruvian President Martín Vizcarra has asked for forgiveness because he has not stopped listening to a woman who has asked for help for her husband, who had coronavirus and who eventually died.
The incident occurred on Sunday during Vizcarra’s visit to Arequipa. A woman, Celia Capira, chased the convoy with which the Peruvian President returned to Lima while calling for help.
“Mr President, you have to go to the tent. Why don’t you let him go? Think of your families!” Said Capira as he ran ‘Peru21’ with a mask and a protective mask down the street.
Capira complained that “many people get it” without “government support”. “I have my husband bad (…) The same thing will happen, we all have a family,” she argued. “The president is bad … why are they bad?”
