Secretary of Defense Mark Esper has ordered this Friday that any troops transferred to the city of Washington as a preventive measure due to protests against the death of George Floyd by the Minneapolis police should be removed from the city’s base who you are.

The decision was made after the Pentagon ordered Thursday that 700 of a total of 1,600 military personnel transferred from the Fort and Drum bases be returned.

Now Esper has asked to bring the remaining 900 back to their home base, according to Navy Secretary Ryan McCarthy in statements to the CNN news network.
