The Pan American University through its Center for ship and Innovation (CEI), launched its call for incubation of projects of this 2020. The invitation is open to the general public until March 17 of this year.
The projects that are selected will have access to the following benefits:
- Design and development of a functional prototype (minimum viable product).
- Linking for technical and market validation.
- Competitive intelligence studies.
- Specialized advice
- Access to more than 50 specialized mentors / managers and strategies for insertion into productive chains.
- Linking with investment funds.
The CEI has evaluated 117 entrepreneurship initiatives since 2016, of which 64 have been selected for the incubation process. In 2019, 24 companies from three generations graduated, more than 120 jobs have been created, four patent applications, 21 copyrights, 642 intellectual property consultancies, 1,780 hours of mentoring.
The companies consolidated through this program currently generate sales above 10.3 million pesos per year. Through the accompaniment carried out by the CIS, the various graduate projects have obtained a capital investment for their development of more than 14 million pesos. Over three years this initiative has promoted several successful projects, some of them are: Journey, Disruptive Option, Complience Reports, Verqor, Baud, among others.
