A total of 162 people tested positive for the outbreak of coronavirus infections reported in the country’s nightclubs. This emerges from the latest updated balance sheet of the authorities collected by the South Korean chain KBS.
These cases are related to the focus of LGTBI clubs in the Itaewon district in the state capital Seoul, where 90 cases of this vector have been confirmed. The number of cases already exceeded 98, which at the time was connected to a call center in the Guro region.
Seoul Mayor Park Won Soon the nightclubs were ordered to close last Saturday and efforts are now focused on tracking down all customers.
The authorities recommended that anyone who visited one of the discotheques between April 24 and May 6 should take the test, even though they showed no symptoms.
