Brave now has 20 million active users and nearly 1 million content creators.
Brave Browser recently reached an important milestone: 20 million active users per monthcompared to 8.7 million in the same period last year. The number of daily active users has similarly increased from 3 million to 7 million.

Brave is a privacy-oriented browser that rewards participants for viewing ads with their Basic Attention Token (BAT). Many users assign some or all of the tokens they receive to content creators on the web. These participants have paid BAT 26 million to content creators since the project began.
Brave is built on Chromium, the same software foundation used by Google’s Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. This means that Chrome browser extensions will also work on Brave and help break down barriers to adoption. However, Brave claims to offer its users much better privacy than its competitors.. The company has also urged authorities to crack down on various tech giants that Brave believes are abusing their power to the detriment of users.
