The President of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela (CNE), Indira Alfonzo, has announced the establishment of the National Logistics Committee, which will be responsible for assessing the evolution of the process for the December 6 general election.
“Today the National Logistics Committee is set up, where all state institutions work together to assess the development of the elections,” said Alfonzo this Saturday, the Venezuelan chain Globovisión.
Alfonzo said that his main task would be to maintain and protect the users who were asked to vote and to avoid possible coronavirus infections.
“The political right of Venezuelans is guaranteed and not caused by the pandemic. We strive to ensure that the conditions for exercising the right to vote are in place,” he stressed.
