The new coronavirus pandemic exceeds 323,000 deaths and 4.9 million cases

The new coronavirus pandemic, which originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, has left more than 323,000 deaths and more than 4.9 million infected worldwide, with the United States posting more than 20,000 positive events in the past 24 hours, according to Johns Hopkins University .

According to data updated this Wednesday at 9:00 a.m., the global coronavirus balance is 4.9 million cases and 323,341 deaths in 188 countries and areas.

The total number of people recovered rises to 1.68 million, with the United States at the top of the list. 289,392 people were healed, followed by Germany with 155,681 rescued patients.

The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, adding 20,300 more cases over the past 24 hours, for a total of 1.52 million people infected and 91,921 deaths.
