GPA Innova, the company that manufactured the 170 respirators that are being screened in Bolivia for suspected price awards, stressed on Thursday that it sold the product at the “standard price”.

In a short video communication, the company’s manager, Pau Sarsanedas, explains that “the sale to a dealer” was made at his “standard price, a fee of 6,000 euros plus 600 euros accessories”.

This was also explained by Sarsanedas in an interview on Tuesday with the Bolivian radio station Radio Fides. GPA Innova sold the 170 breathing apparatuses to IME Consulting, a Bilbao-based company with which the Bolivian government has signed a contract.
